Anytime, really. I had a pretty rough childhood, and I found years ago that just writing it down helped me to let it go, even though I am the only one who has ever read it. I still have a notebook tucked away somewhere, all in pen and ink...I'm not sure if typing it on a PC works as well, but don't see why it wouldn't. Best of luck, and I hope this helps.
