The CMF Phone 2 Pro is official, and it comes with more than just a camera upgrade. Nothing has locked in April 28 for the big reveal, where we’ll also see three new pairs of earbuds join the lineup.
Let’s start with the phone. The CMF Phone 2 Pro name alone hints at a step up from the original, which had a pretty underwhelming 50MP+2MP camera setup. This time, Nothing is promising improvements, plus a fresh new finish. Early teasers show the screws on the back are still there, meaning you’ll likely get a removable rear panel again.
Specs? Rumors point to a 6.3-inch OLED display (1080p+, 120Hz), powered by a Dimensity 7400 chip, and backed by a solid 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging. Not bad. The leak originally called it the CMF Phone 2, no “Pro,” so it’s still unclear if there’s a regular version too. Maybe we’ll find out soon.
It feels odd to slap the “Pro” label on a small phone, especially since the first CMF Phone was bigger and had a 6.67-inch screen. Plus, Nothing usually isn’t into compact phones. Either way, the handset is shaping up to be an interesting twist.
The event also brings more for audio fans. Alongside the phone, expect the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. These will join last year’s CMF Buds Pro 2 in Nothing’s growing audio portfolio.
April 28 is the date to watch. We’ll know exactly what Nothing has been cooking soon enough.
